                                           Trick or Treat

Halloween is coming up and I am sure a lot of people are preparing for this holiday.

As Christians, we tend to overlook the real evil that is behind it, in the light of it's seeming innocence of children, having fun, dressing up and eating candy. But we need to look further into this "innocent" fun and see whether or not it's something we want our children to participate in. Not only that, but we are called to be an example and light to the rest of the world. If they see we let our kids celebrate what is commonly known as "the devil's holiday", then it must be okay. And whereas you may be able to protect your child from a lot of the evil surrounding this holiday, they cannot. The following is what I'd like to call a refresher course for Christians, to remind you of the what this day is really all about.

Halloween is about all death, witchcraft, violence, perversion and filth in the world.

Halloween  really is a "Satan" Holiday. Jesus died and God gave everything to deliver us from the devil!     God does not want you going back to the devil!  To practice and participate in this holiday you are having fun, enjoying, worshiping and celebrating Satan as god. "No, I'm just letting my child dress up and get candy, there is nothing wrong with that" many of you would say. I get that, to you it seems innocent. If you truly thought there was really all that much to this than I would venture to say, many of you wouldn't participate. The problem is we have been dumbed down by society, and even the schools, to forget who is really behind this day. But think about it for a moment, and remember, I am writing this for my fellow Christians, for it won't make any sense to those who haven't been set free from the darkness that this holiday encompasses. Take a moment and really think about it. For months leading up to the end of October, we see decorations in stores everywhere. Sure, you may see some fall or harvest decorations, but mostly all you see is death. Skulls, skeletons, headstones, witches etc... (You really are having fellowship with witches, pagans, atheist, Thelemites, and Satanists) You are telling your children there is nothing wrong with worshiping and celebrating Satan as god.  (This is done in the subconscious.  Everything you do, say and think is a spiritual act in obedience to God or Satan as "Sovereign" in your life.) Children are like sponges, and what parent has ever raised a child without the wonder that comes from being amazed at just how much they pick up!

Halloween is a heathen, pagan  Holiday.
Halloween is not a Christian Holiday. Christianity is about giving.  Halloween is  teaching children, through a dress rehearsals to be robbers, thieves, delinquents.

Halloween is the most important of the eight sabats in witchcraft and is known to the witches by the Scotch-Gaelic word “Samhain”, which is pronounced “SOW-EEN.” It is believed that on that night, the barrier between this world and the next, known as the astral plane, becomes very thin. The witches believe that this allows spirits of departed ones to travel freely back and forth between the earth and the spirit realm. Thus, Halloween is the highest day in Wiccan witchcraft

From: http://theisticsatanism.com/geifodd/samhain.html  I feel that it is important that Satanists encourage and participate in the practice of trick-or-treating. For me, this is one of the many Halloween traditions that gives glory to the Prince of Darkness. This is because trick-or-treating encourages both children and adults to let their imaginations fly and to dress up as whatever their hearts desire. Plus, it has the added incentive of getting CANDY, and I believe that Satan loves it when we indulge in eating massive quantities of chocolate! So take this opportunity to unleash your imagination by wearing a costume and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Or, if you are a Satanist parent, take your children out trick-or-treating.

The above is an excerpt to let you know just how twisted satanists are, and how they claim this holiday as their own.

By putting on a disguise, going to strangers and taking something from them  that they did not earn by threatening to do something kind of damage to the person or their home if they don’t give them what they want. Example: a bank robber puts a mask on his face to disguise himself, then puts a gun in the tellers face and says "fill the bag with money."  For a child put “Candy” in the bag or container.  It is an  introduction, (indoctrination), of children to greed and selfishness.

1 Corinthians 6: 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Christian children have the right not to do this because this is a sin, you cannot make or tempt your children to sin.  God commands you to punish your child if they participate in the kind of activity that takes place on Halloween. Deuteronomy 18:9-13, Exodus 9:42-43

Your child will always, unknowingly, have guilt in their subconscious of sinning and will not know the peace of mind free from sin, forgiven by God.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,  so that we may serve the living God!

2 Corinthians 6:14 says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

To me, the above scripture says it all. As Christians, we are called to be the light of the world, so what do we have to do with darkness? We are not friends, we do not hang out. We are friends with the Light of the world! We spend time with Jesus, not witches, goblins, demons, and death. I would challenge you as a Christian parent this month to take this opportunity to teach your kids the difference between light and darkness, teach them how to share things like candy with each other, teach them to give, not to take. Many people say that Christmas is also a pagan holiday and that Jesus wasn't actually born in our equivalent of December. I say it doesn't matter when you celebrate Jesus (His birth, life, death and resurrection), during Christmas time or any other time. Use this time to let your children celebrate how Jesus overcomes the darkness that surrounds us this time of year. Teach them to be the Light of the world!

Occult Practices

Deuteronomy 18:9 When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the LORD your God.
Trick-or-treating

The "trick" is a (usually idle) threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given to them. In North America, trick or treating has been a customary Halloween tradition since the early 1950s

Samhain (/ˈsɑːwɪn//ˈs.ɪn/, or /ˈsn/)[1] is a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the "darker half" of the year. It is celebrated from sunset October 31st - sunset November 1st.

Samhain is still celebrated as a cultural festival by some (though it has mostly been replaced by Halloween) and, since the 20th century, has been celebrated as a religious festival by Celtic neopagans and Wiccans
