1 Samuel 17:26-37
26 David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”
27 They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.”

32 David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.”
33 Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.”

34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, 35 I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it.36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. 37 The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”
2. The thought becomes a "Word", a sentence. Jesus is produced.
3. The power and authority comes from or is in the form of God's unfathomable love :
"The Holy Spirit"
You can have a God thought, produce a Word, Jesus: but unless the Holy Spirit moves on you to do so it will be powerless.
All things must be lead by the Holy Spirit. This is why Jesus will tell some: go depart from me, I do not know you. We are given gifts and abilities but unless the Holy Spirit leads you, it isn't the right thing to do.
We also receive The Holy Spirit which enforces or empowers the Ten Commandments in us. So we have all power and authority over everything on earth. In the name of Jesus which is the name above all other names, Because it means "The living breathing word that comes out of the Fathers mouth", to command and demand the entire Universe for his purposes, Not ours!

The Deity of Jesus Christ

19 Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.
Why is the church powerless to stop the onslaught full frontal attack on our country, from within? We have made covenants with idols and support idols with our lives, we sacrifice our time, our money and sacrifice our children to them. We are enthralled with their beauty and lust after them. We speak like the world, we talk like the world, we compete with the world. We are lead into worshiping the devil in songs, music, movies, TV shows.
.....idols: Any corporation, business even the government is a man made god, idol, religion, it is an entity only on paper it really doesn't exist, it has no rights. Whether it's a Baseball Team, A High School, a township, Ford, AT&T. There isn't "a real human being", attached to it so it is an idol.
Christian we have one covenant. If you turn to other covenants, agreements you nullify the power of God.

Jesus spoke with authority and confidence because he heard one voice. He spoke what he heard God tell him, he was lead only by the Spirit. He answered to no one.
When lead by the Holy Spirit , we speak and do in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the "Word", The Bible, knowledge of God, morality, inside that we didn't read from the Bible. It is the word imprinted on us. That "Word", "Jesus," empowered by the Holy Spirit leading us to God the Father, to be close to him, having clean pure holy thoughts, lays dormant, full of power, underneath the lies the world taught us growing up and every day.
