What To Do If You or Your Family Gets the Bug
* Disclaimer, this is not medical advice but things our family has done to help us through the bug successfully
First of all, don't panic. The go to remedy has been Ivermectin and doctors have been successfully treating with it since this thing began. I want to give you some tips on how to get your family through if you get the bug. At the bottom will be a list of pharmacies where you may be able to get Ivermectin
1. DON'T PANIC- I know this can be hard but try to stay calm and remember this has a survivability rate of over 99%. Whatever this new this is going around it rough and you may feel week and nausea for awhile.

Things to have on hand now:
1. Quercetin 500 mg
2. Vitamin D3 liquid 10,000
3. Vitamin C to bowel tolerance up to 10,000 mg a day
4. Mouthwash (Cetylpridinium chloride) gargle and rinse 3x a day
5. Sweet Wormwood (aka Sweet Annie) - capsules or tea https://urbol.com/sweet-annie-benefits-and-uses-a-natural-anti-fungal-and-malaria/
Health Benefits of Sweet Annie
- It is commonly used as a treatment for malaria.
- It is used to relieve fever and jaundice.
- It is packed with flavanoids. Flavanoids can combat inflammation, viruses, disease and allergies.
- It can help prevent certain types of disease including lung, breast and colon disease.
- It helps in treating leptospirosis.
- Applied topically, the herb can exhibit the positive effects of its anti-fungal properties. This makes it efficient for athlete’s foot, ringworm and other fungal skin conditions.
Sweet Annie tea is effective in treating malaria and fever because it contains a substance called artemisinin, which can kill the malaria virus upon contact. High temperatures destroy the artemisinin in Sweet Annie’s, so extraction involves low temperatures. In laboratories, artemisinin is synthesized and marketed in malaria treatment drugs.
Artemisinin has been proven to be more effective than the previous malaria medications before it and ongoing research is being done into its anti-disease properties and ability to fight deadly acanthamoebiasis.
Aside from combating malaria parasites, artemisinins possess antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antifungal activities. This indicates the potential of Sweet Wormwood as a relief for hepatitis, herpes and flu. Administration is particularly easy. You can take Sweet Annie internally as tea, tincture or extract.
6. Nebulized peroxide with one drop idodine. Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical that helps the immune system kill infective organisms. White blood cells and certain enzymes produce hydrogen peroxide for this purpose. We have used hydrogen peroxide for decades to treat different kinds of infections.
Nubulizing is a means of administering a medication into the nose, sinuses, mouth, throat, and lungs. Nebulizing hydrogen peroxide delivers this chemical directly to these tissues which would, at least in theory, help the immune system combat invading pathogens such as fungi, bacteria, and viruses.
Nebulization has been used to deliver medicines for many years for people with respiratory problems including asthma. Dr. Shallenberger discovered that nebulized medicines can have systemic effects and used hydrogen peroxide for a respiratory infection for his wife and others with excellent results. He has treated many people with good success fighting viral infections.
Dr. Shallenberger’s article notes: “the treatments are simple. Just attach delivery mask to the nebulizer output (see the devices instructions for specifics). Then add 3 cc of the hydrogen peroxide and saline mixture to the nebulizer. Place the mask over your mouth and nose and breathe normally until the solution is gone. It’s as simple as that.” One treatment usually takes 10-15 minutes.
When first coming down with a virus infection, that tickle in the back of your throat or sniffles, he recommends nebulizing dilute “hydrogen peroxide hourly the first day and then 4-6 times a day until the infection is completely resolved. In most cases if you start the treatment early enough, before it has gotten a strong hold this will be in 2-4 days.” The goal is to stop the virus before it gets deep in the lungs where it causes severe inflammation and can progress to serious illness.
DIRECTIONS:
- To make the nebulizing mixture dilute 5 mL of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 100 mL saline <OR> 1 ounce of 3% hydrogen peroxide to about 16 ounces of saline.
- Use 3 cc of the diluted mixture for each nebulization treatment.
- Place the mask over your mouth and nose and breathe normally until the solution is gone, which is usually 10-15 minutes.
- Repeat the 3 cc nebulization treatment hourly the first day, and 4-6 times a day until the infection is resolved.
You can do this in conjunction with any recommendations your health care practitioner recommends.
Some authors suggest stronger solutions for better antiviral effect up to 0.5% which would be about 15 cc of 3% hydrogen peroxide in the 100 mL of saline. If there is any burning sensation, back off to the more dilute solution.
If no saline is available distilled water can also be used to dilute the hydrogen peroxide. If food grade hydrogen peroxide is not available standard hydrogen peroxide that you can get at the drugstore could be used and then diluted as above, but is not as pure. https://www.revolutionhealth.org/nebulized-hydrogen-peroxide/

7. Zinc
8. Nasal spray bottles, Alkalol nasal wash
9. Aspirin reg
10. NAC- follow recommendation on bottle
Find a doctor who will treat you. Many hospitals unfortunately send people away without any treatment.
List of Doctors who will treat...I will put this list at the bottom of this article as well.
Dr. Robert Urso is currently treating patients very successfully with the following treatment
Some other helpful home remedies
Castor oil packs for congestion
essential oils, peppermint, eucalyptus, frankincense
Run an essential oil diffuser with a blend of these oils, sometimes called Robbers blend
- 40 drops clove bud essential oil.
- 35 drops lemon essential.
- 20 drops cinnamon bark essential oil.
- 15 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
- 10 drops rosemary essential oil
What most doctors are prescribing now is ivermectin ( sweet wormwood, see above if ivermectin not available) and or hydroxycloriquine, an anti biotic, and oral steriods. The key they say is to treat early and get inflammation down.
Bone broth, homemade chicken soup, apple juice, orange juice are old fashioned remedies that help with colds and flus.
You may need something for nausea, there are plenty of over the counter nausea meds. We have been using marshmallow root and mastic gum for stomach aches for awhile.
Ivermectin is in a false shortage right now. There is plenty to go around. India, Mexico, Japan are all treating successfully with Ivermectin. You may still be able to get a hold of some at local pharmacies. Call around and see if any have it in stock or can order it. Use the Good RX online or on your phone. If you can't get ahold of any read below for a compounding pharmacy that will fill it. Unfortunately customs has been checking shipments from overseas pharmacies but that may be an option too.
Here is a list of pharmacies that will fill ivermectin if they have it. Some of the pharmacies will put you in touch with a doctor to get a prescription for it. Keep in mind it may be expensive when using pharmacies that don't accept goodrx.
PHARMACIES THAT FILL IVERMECTIN

In case this link goes down here is the list Important Tips When Selecting an online pharmacy:
- Check online reviews.
- Ask about pricing for prescriptions upfront and include shipping costs.
- Ask where your prescription is being shipped from.
- If your pharmacy is not willing to fill, many states require pharmacists to provide alternate locations or refer you to a pharmacy that can fill. They should not leave you hanging.
- Greater success with locals and independents.
- If possible, check out more than one online pharmacy and compare costs.
- Check the US Food & Drug Administration pharmacy inspection reports and related records here.
- Kroger, HEB, Publix
- Walmart, CVS, Sam's Club, Costco

OREGON
Integrative pediatrics, Portland, Oregon
503-643-2100 (only for patients who live within 50 miles of the office
https://www.integrativepediatricsonline.com
We currently are a medical home - required to be able to take most insurances - therefore to become a patient and be seen you need to live within 50 miles of our office and have an insurance that we can take. In some cases, we can accept cash payment. We have CLIA certification/waiver to run rapid (15 minute) COVID-19 tests to see if you are infected with SARS-CoV2 and if you are ill you would not be in the main office space until proven to be negative for COVID-19. We then can do a complete evaluation and take care you as we normally would do.
