What Is a Tetrad?
Every so often, there are four total lunar eclipses in a row. At timeanddate.com, we also use the term “super tetrad” for a rare sequence of four consecutive total lunar eclipses plus four total or annular solar eclipses.
Tetrads: 4 Total Lunar Eclipses
A tetrad is a phenomenon where four consecutive eclipse seasons each contain a total lunar eclipse. In other words, it is four “Blood Moons” in a row, about six months apart. The term comes from the Greek word tetras, which means a group of four.
Tetrads are not particularly rare, although they come in interesting cycles of around 600 years. For about 300 years, there are no tetrads at all. This is followed by a period of roughly 300 years where a tetrad occurs every 15 years or so.
At the moment, we are about halfway through the second half of this cycle. The last tetrad took place in 2014-2015; the next will happen in 2032-2033.

Four Blood Moons: Total Lunar Eclipse Series Not a Sign of ApocalypseAstronomers rarely if ever use the term blood moon. When they do, they are usually using it as an alternate name for the Hunter's Moon, the full moon that follows the Harvest Moon, usually in late October. The Hunter's Moon, like the Harvest Moon, rises slowly on autumn evenings so that it shines through a thick layer of the Earth's atmosphere, and is colored red by Rayleigh scattering and air pollution.

Has the Bethlehem Star Reappeared?

Since the first chapter of Genesis declares that God can use the stars for signs of things to come, many are talking about the current conjunction (near alignment) of the planets Venus and Jupiter, which create the image of one extremely bright star, reminding some of the Bethlehem Star that appeared at the time of the birth of Yeshua (Jesus).The two planets were only a third degree apart on June 30/July 1, and they will remain close until August 2016 as they both race toward Regulus, which is the brightest star in the Leo constellation, creating a magnificent heavenly spectacle in the western sky.

REVELATION 12 – A SIGN IN THE HEAVENS, SEPTEMBER 23 2017
“And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.”
(Revelation 12: 1-2 ESV)
I believe that the Great Sign in the Sun, Moon and Stars on September 23, 2017 literally fulfilled the vision John was given in Revelation 12:1-2. This is perhaps the most exciting prophetic sign our generation has seen (apart from Israel’s rebirth!).
Israel’s rebirth seems to have fulfilled the sign of the budding of the Fig Tree, and thus, the starting of the so-called Terminal Generation– the generation that will not pass away until Jesus returns. The Revelation 12 sign seems to be right on time to signal the imminent rapture of the church and the beginning of the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. This time of trouble will bring about the reconciliation of Israel to God, through a period of severe testing.
A Great Sign
When I first stumbled across the Revelation 12 sign, I searched in scripture for all “great sign” passages. It turns out there are only two:
There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great [Strong’s 3173] signs [Strong’s 4592] from heaven. (Luke 21:11 ESV)
“And a great [Strong’s 3173] sign [Strong’s 4592] appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.” (Revelation 12: 1-2 ESV)

Amos 8:9
“On that day, says the Lord GOD, I will make the sun go down at noon, and darken the earth in broad daylight.”
Scholars disagree whether this text in Amos is a reference to a solar eclipse. Most scholars believe that Amos preached c. 750 B.C. However, there was no total eclipse of the sun in Israel between 831 and 557 B.C. Some scholars believe that Amos is referring to a solar eclipse that occurred June 15, 763 B.C. However, Stephenson says that this eclipse was only partial in Samaria (1975: 118). Stephenson believes that Amos possibly heard a report about the eclipse that occurred in Assyria in 763 B.C., where the totality occurred before noon (1975: 119).
According to Stephenson, the text in Joel is the best reference in the Old Testament of a total eclipse of the sun and a total eclipse of the moon, which occurred at different times. Some scholars use this reference to the solar eclipse to date the book of Joel. Gaebelein, for instance, dates the book of Joel in the ninth century B.C. This date, according to Gaebelein, “is abundantly verified by different facts found in the book itself.” One of them is the solar eclipse that occurred on August 15, 831 B.C.
However, as I showed in my article on Joel (1987:125-130), the book of Joel was written in the post-exilic period. John Bright believes that Joel was probably composed in the Persian Period (1981:434). Stephenson associates the eclipse mentioned in Joel with the eclipse that occurred in 357 B.C. Stephenson said that astronomical evidence and Joel’s statement that the sun would be “turned into darkness” in Judah, suggests that Joel was a witness of the eclipse that occurred on February 29. 357 B.C.

On the afternoon of July 2, 2019, the path of a total solar eclipse abruptly ended at sunset near the birthplace of Pope Francis in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A previous article titled “The Sun Signs and Pope Francis” dealt with that solar eclipse and the next day, July 3, 2019, the seven "years of years" anniversary date from 10/29/539 BC when King Cyrus of Persia triumphantly entered ancient Babylon.
Because July 3, 2019, was the anniversary date 933,813 days after 10/29/539 BC, July 2, 2019, is the day when seven inclusive years of years from 10/29/539 BC occurs.
That means that the total solar eclipse of July 2, 2019 falls exactly on the same day (today as this article is written) that is seven inclusive years of years (933,813 inclusive days) from the day King Cyrus entered ancient Babylon.

Today this word -used in various modifications- is still popularly used to designate the people and island of Puerto Rico. The Taíno Indians, who came from the Orinoco River in present Venezuela, inhabited the major portion of the island when the Spaniards arrived. The Taíno Indians, lived in small villages or "bateyes", and were organized in clans, led by a Cacique, or chief. They were a peaceful people who, with a limited knowledge of agriculture, lived on such domesticated tropical crops as pineapples, cassava, and sweet potatoes supplemented by seafood.

On April 17, Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain signed the agreement to finance and set the terms of Columbus's voyage to the Indies. The document is known as the Capitulations of Santa Fe. The agreement established that Columbus would become the viceroy and governor of all discovered land and rights to 10% of all assets brought to Spain, among other terms.

When President Ulysses S. Grant signed into law the Coinage Act of 1873 (also known as the Mint Act of 1873 or the Fourth Coinage Act), the ramifications of his action would not be noticed for several years. The passage of this act, though, ended up being so notorious that many would later call it the “Crime of 1873.”
The inability to “cash in” silver bullion had the greatest impact upon miners, farmers and those who had debts to pay. The working class now had no feasible means to do so. Greenbacks could be redeemed for silver, but with the passage of the Specie Payment Resumption Act of 1875, the legal tender limit could not be greater than five dollars. The Act caused silver prices to fall even more than they previously had (due to oversupply), resulting in an increase in gold prices. It also caused the silver mining western part of the country to be at odds with the gold counting eastern part. The country was divided yet again.
