What is the legal Language of America?

Some People say this!

Isaiah 58 Ministries                                                         March 18, 2014

Pastor: Leah Svensson

Scriptures: Matthew 15:10-20, 2 Peter 2:4-9, James 3:1-18

What is the “legal” American Language? English?

According to the owners/establishers of the country  written by them in 1776 the legal language in American is “moral”, “gentle”, “wholesome”, “good”, “clean minded”, “honest.”  They are the words of healthy people.

What is the American Language?  It is every language on the face of the earth.

The most important part of language is what comes out of the heart. Is it the right thing to say? The legal question is: what  is the spoken “moral”, “gentle”, “wholesome”, “good”, “clean minded”, “honest” language of healthy people?

Violent, foul, perverted, sexualized, manipulative, twisted, and false words are against the law- they are illegal and  abased.

People have the right to live in peace with others.

Those who do not speak peacefully are stirring up trouble and disrupting the peace.

Do the words treat everyone as equals? Do they accuse people without a fair trial? Are the words spoken hate filled, condemning the innocent actions of good, moral, honest citizens? Do the words spoken exemplify that fact that everyone is innocent until proven guilty?

Known as the "Father of Classical Liberalism"
The Bible is a guide for legal language and illegal language. Immoral actions coincide with immoral language. A bad person always speaks badly about a good person. A person is known by the words they speak. An evil person speaks evil out of an evil heart. A good person speaks good out of a good heart.

John Locke: Throughout his writings, Locke argued that people had the gift of reason, or the ability to think. Locke thought they had the natural ability to govern themselves and to look after the well being of society. He wrote, "The state of nature has a law of nature to govern it, which [treats] everyone [equally]. Reason, which is that law, teaches all mankind... that being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health or possessions."

An example: I have a hard time supporting the military because the military “breaks” the mind.  Each person is then retrained and brain washed to speak the way they are trained. But their morals have been stripped from them when their minds were stripped from them. Because of this the people in the military are probably the “most vile”, violent speaking people of all. So instead of protecting the country they defile it with their words and actions.

God will not protect this soldier who gazes and looks at these pin-ups!
God does protect these kind of men: virtuous.
The miles christianus allegory (mid 13th century), showing a knight armed with virtues and facing the vices in mortal combat. The parts of his armour are identified with Christian virtues, thus correlating essential military equipment with the religious values of chivalry: The helmet is spes futuri gaudii (hope of future bliss), the shield (here the shield of the Trinity) is fides (faith), the armour is caritas (charity), the lance is perseverantia(perseverance), the sword is verbum Dei (word of God), the banner is regni celestis desiderium(desire for the kingdom of heaven), the horse isbona voluntas (good will), the saddle is christiana religio (Christian religion), the saddlecloth ishumilitas (humility), the reins are discretio(discretion), the spurs are disciplina (discipline), the stirrups are propositum boni operis(proposition of good works), and the horse's four hooves are delectatio, consensus, bonum opus, consuetudo (delight, consent, good work and exercise).

     If a nation wants to win a battle every time: Men who have morals, respect for women and children, great good Godly convictions, real true honor and integrity, Men that know how to pray and ask God for his help.  They have to have men who think for themselves;

For a cause to be “right” you need God. Killing isn't wrong when it is done in defending the innocent. But killing for business interest, dominion, non-religious reasons, (religion=good moral “cause” like fighting against slavery or abortion), you are just murders. The military, even the police or national guard becomes nothing more than a bunch of mercenaries for hire, trained assassins without God. (Which is what we have had for the last 50 years.)

I was just thinking of St. Patrick's day. I come from a very Irish Catholic family, deep rooted, lots of red heads! But if want to go to heaven I have to know and tell the truth. The truth is Holidays based on "Saints" is a mockery of the "saint." Every human being is called by God to be a saint. Saints turn from sin, from the world and live good clean, pure, holy lives, separated from the world and it's system.  Saints change nations! They preach the "holy, pure" Gospel of Jesus Christ. Saints say," Turn to God", "Repent".

Saints say; "don't worship me!" "Worship God." "I do nothing", "Christ does everything," "celebrate" "Jesus Christ". "Pray to him, not me, not Mary," "Pray to the Father." Saints are "Holy"  people. To honor them you live a "Holy life" yourself praying to God: the Father of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit in the name above all names "Jesus Christ"

Language that mocks or hurts another person is not acceptable language, unless it is done in self defense for and of those who are moral, upright, innocent.

Most words used today are illegal. People need to be perfect in heart, then in speech before they can speak on anything a subject.

What Defiles a Person
Matthew 15:10 And he called the people to him and said to them, “Hear and understand:11 it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” 12 Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” 13 He answered, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. 14 Let them alone; they are blind guides.  And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 15 But Peter said to him, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 And he said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled?  18 But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. 20 These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”
2 Peter 2
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains  of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;  7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials,  and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who indulge] in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.
Taming the Tongue
James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. 3 If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. 4 Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.
How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,  and set on fire by hell.  7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God.10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.
Wisdom from Above
13 Who is wise  and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Water or Poison, Clean, Pure, Fresh Water from the Mountain! Or Polluted Water from the City?

Isaiah 58 Ministries                                                                          July  21,  2013

Pastor:  Leah  Svensson
Commentary by: Matthew Stoskopf

Scriptures: Mark 16: 15-20, John 7: 37-39, John 4:14,  Rev. 22:17, Matthew 15:17-20, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, James 1:27

                                                           Short Version

Jesus talked about rivers of living water coming up and out of the heart of those who believe in him. Rivers. Not just one but many rivers. There are people who's words are poisonous to anyone who hears their voice. You do not even have to believe what they are saying.  I connected that to the scripture, John 7:18......... "if they drink deadly poison it will not hurt them." Then I connected the scripture john 4:14.... whoever drinks the water Jesus gives him will never be thirsty again and Revelations 22:17........the free gift of the water of Life.    The short version of this sermon is this: people either have water or poison coming out of them.  Each person has a river flowing out of them.  Is it poison or good clean water?  If we are rivers where is the source from which we flow? Where does our clean or dirty water start?  This means there are smaller rivers flowing into our river.  What if the tributaries flowing into my river are polluted?  They will pollute my whole river.... So we have to be careful not only to stay pure and clean before God but we also have to make sure of who is flowing into me that they also keep their water clean and pure.

                                                                   Sermon

A few years ago God called our little family to live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  We heard God so clearly we thought we would never return to Ohio.  We stayed there for 5 years, alone.  We separated ourselves completely from everyone. We did our Christian duty and went to church Wednesday night and Sunday.  We volunteered one month of our time a year.  We cut out cable, TV,  the internet, the phone, radio, CD's, cassette's, we gave a lot of our possessions away.  We eventually sold everything that we had gained from living as a part of "the system", anything  that came from "the world".

We learned how to keep our minds, spirits, healed, pure, and clean. James 1:27........to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

We didn't do it on purpose.  It just kind of happened as we followed the leading of the Holy Spirit.  But the results were dramatic.  Mental, emotional and even physical healing happened to each of us.  We heard God clearly!  We were being cleansed, our minds purified from years of abuse.  We lost all friends, family, etc.  But we had God.  His love.  Our intelligence went off the charts!  Michelle who was a fair student started to love English!!! Songs, poems, positive thoughts, ideas just flowed.  Faith in God in all of us rose up, up and up.  Love flow from each other.  It was heaven on earth.  Love, safety, peace, calm, health. Leah who struggled with a weight problem, healed, by God delivering our little family from those who abused us. We learned what healthy good relationship are and what unhealthy relationships are. We learned that women are called to be keepers at home.  Children deserve to be born and be loved by their mother, raised by her, protected by her.24/7/365 every minute of every hour.  Women deserve husbands who provide for them, protect them, care about their "virtue", purity of mind, body, spirit. (It is wrong for a man to lust after a woman and it is wrong for a woman to lust after a man.  Yes, you can have sex without lust, without sin. Clean, holy and pure. To have children, to raise them to be Christians.)

You can not eat, sleep, drink, be with and in the world and not be polluted by it.  Poisoned.  then the poison in you spreads to others, then to others then to others.  You have a choice through Jesus.  Live in the purity of Christ.  Let him cleanse your mind from the lies, lust and dictates of the "world".   The world is dying, polluted, killing "fish", people.  We can stop it.  Jesus did it all for us.  Put your faith in God and the world around you will change, it will be clean, pure, living water.  Don't drink from the polluted "city" waters, rivers any more.  God has a pure stream for you to drink from and bathe in from the Holy Mountain of God....

The Promise of the Holy Spirit
John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing  in Him would receive; for the Holy  Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
15  He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.16  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18  they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
19  After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. 20  Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

John 4:14  But whosoever drink of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

2Cr 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Cr 6:15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Cr 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Cr 6:17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,
2Cr 6:18  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

James 1:26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

                                                           Commentary

When you turn on the radio at home, in the car, and at work what is being played?  Is it uplifting and directed by the Holy Spirit?  or is it of a demonic origin?  Rock n roll, rap, and country are founded and directed by Satan.  The artists therein sell their souls for rock n roll, to be rich, or to corrupt morals through grave sin and wretchedness that surrounds their lives.  Clean flowing songs of purity, holiness, from the Spirit are healing, soothing, and bring you to a higher level of understanding of the world and its creator. Who is in your life?  Are your family and friends positive and following the leading of the Lord?  Many in this country are abusing their fellow family members.  Around these people you cannot be yourself, or be of sound mind.  They force you into being obedient to them, not God.  They force you into tip toeing around their temper and their evil mindsets.  It takes discernment, but there are those who force you into fellowship with the devil rather than God.  You must separate yourself from these people as they have sold their souls out to the him.  These people are polluting your river.  They are keeping you from your promised land, God given means of provision, children, or countless other blessings.  By keeping them in your social circle you are becoming less intelligent, as Satan's attacks have caused you to loose brain cells!  Until you turn to God and your back to these people these brain cells are being held hostage.  You are being held against your will.  Turn against these people and like Michelle you will be blessed with true sound mind and extremely high intelligence.

A polluted river is stopped up and slow moving.  All the toxic trash and debris of the world are causing it to become stagnant.  As you begin to cleanse your tributaries, the Holy Spirit will begin to flow.  You will receive the clarity and discernment for further purging in your life.  It is easy to recognize the trash floating along, but what about the toxic waste as displayed above?  By worldly outward appearance there are influences in our lives that appear to be water, but are only recognized as pollution upon further inspection.  Be of good cheer, do not be deceived.  Jesus has come to clean you up today.  Take that first step and begin to feel the relief of your ails.  Get set free from all that the world is using to hold you down!

You've made your bed now lie in it... huh?

You've made your bed now lie in it... huh?

July 17, 2013     Happy Birthday Troy!

So... just a thought I had today... ;)

Growing up there were adults in my family that often voiced their belief of, “You and you alone are responsible for the choices you have made and the life you live, be it good or bad, it is simply a result of those choices”. They believed that if you wanted a different or better life, you should just get up and go out and get it. It’s the whole “you’ve made your bed,now lay in it” mentality. I often heard this kind of talk repeated from them through my grandma when she spoke to them and as far as I know, they still hold to this way of thinking. In all honesty though, they are not alone in thinking the way that they do. As a matter of fact, I have seen similar posts like this by some of my kindest friends on Facebook as well as my closest “real life”friends. They have said as much to me in person.

I find this outlook on life rather surprising actually. And while I consider many of my views to line up with conservatives, I find that many conservatives are the loudest where this subject is concerned. When actually, all this mindset does is perpetuate the problem because it NEVER holds bad people accountable for their actions against others. Is a rape victim responsible for the fact that she now has a child out of wedlock? Is the now grown adult responsible for being hooked on cocaine when someone else got them started on drugs as a young person? Is the woman responsible for choosing rotten men in life because she was abused or neglected by her father? Some may say, “Well, once you are an adult, the choices you make are all yours!” -proving only one thing, ignorance.

The results of childhood abuse span the rest of that person’s life. The Bible says, “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he shall not depart from it.” In communist countries it is common practice to indoctrinate children to the “state’s” beliefs because they know that the way a mind is formed in childhood is almost always how that mind will be when it is an adult, without the saving power of Jesus Christ.

We all see it in action movies, when people get interrogated(or what have you) and the “bad guys” go at them with forms of manipulation, terrorizing, abuse etc… until they “break”. Why? Because it works. When a person suffers enough, they lose their resolve and will to make decisions that they would otherwise wish to make should their minds not be broken.

I look at inner city culture, whites and blacks alike, and see a cycle. Ignorance and abuse are like a plague, they breed more of the same. Occasionally you get some that make it out, and “make something of themselves”, and that’s wonderful, but what about those that are left. What about the homeless? How did they even get that way? Is it possible that they ALL literally have NO family that will take them in and help them out? No, not possible. More than likely, they have family like some of mine, who hold to the belief of, “they have made their choice” or they have good family that wants to help but say “they won’t let me help them and I can’t make them do something they don’t want to do.”

So here we are again, looking at the teenage girl who is pregnant out of wedlock, or the young man who has dropped out of high school because he feels stupid or is bullied. Many say, “they made their choice and won’t let people in to help.” So they give up, mainly shifting all the blame onto the teenager, or the homeless person because we as “sound minded” people can’t imagine that if we were in their situation that we wouldn't be able to figure a way out. Many would tell the girl to use a contraceptive (I would tell her to abstain), tell the boy to study and ignore bullies, and the homeless person to call someone, or find a side job and work their way back into society. All of those ideas sound good in theory, but you aren't actually in that person’s shoes, you may not have had the same abuse that they have; your mind and will may not have been broken beyond repair like theirs.

My intent in writing this is not to outline how to help people like this out of these types of situations, but rather to bring awareness to the fact that people are more than likely (but not always) NOT a product of choices they themselves have made, but rather a product of choices and decisions that were made for or against them. Does the Olympic swimmer get there by them self? Sometimes, but often they are there because they had family and coaches backing and supporting them all the way. Encouraging them that they could do it.

Some people, like my mom for example, defied the odds and when everyone told her that she couldn’t stay at home with her children as a single mother, or raise godly children, home school and protect them, she said no. With everyone and everything in the world against her, she surmounted extreme childhood abuse, and decided that her children’s mental well-being was more important than her own food and clothing. But SHE didn’t do any of that. Not on her own; on your own none of that is possible. It was through Jesus Christ, and the strength that He gives that she was able to do it all. Growing up my mother never yelled at me or snapped at me; she never said a cross word against me. She was ALWAYS patient, kind and loving and never once told me what to do when it came to decisions. Rather, she always directed me to seek God and find out what He would have me do in a situation.

I say all of that to prove that we are not a product of the choices that we make and I am the biggest proof of that. I am who I am today-anything good I have in me- is a direct result of the love of God that was poured into my life by my mom.

It’s very easy and popular to believe the opposite, and occasionally it is true, but more often than not, you have to give time and attention into a person’s past and the things that happened to them to find out why they are who they are.

So as I mentioned in the beginning, this thinking goes against most conservative minds, but if they look deeper they will find that it actually lines up with what they really want. Most people want to help people, but often, they think “tough love” is the best way to go about it, when actually the truth is, the only love that will help is God’s love. If you want to help someone get out of a situation, you have to seek God on his or her behalf, throw out everything YOU think, and allow God to lay out a plan. And if that person, even if they are good hearted, is abusive to you, sometimes you have to take a step back when you are too close to a situation and allow someone else to come in, see clearly without emotion and seek God on the behalf of you and the person in need.

I will end with this little rabbit trailed monologue with this, God’s love is what truly sets a person free and without it, you can’t.Some people don’t want God’s love, they will leave the person to remain homeless because “it was their own fault anyway…” others care and want to show God’s love to help the homeless person but don’t know how to get past the person’s mental and emotional state… Others still… God is gracious enough to work through, and they are blessed to show His love that has healing and restorative power no matter how a person came to be in the situation they are in. Those people who get to witness God’s work first hand are truly given a gift indeed.

The End, Much Love Yall! ~ Michelle
