Saints Who Have Power to Affect Our Lives

Isaiah 58 Ministries                                                       March  20, 2015

Pastor: Leah Svensson

Scriptures: Ecclesiastes 3:1-14

Saints Who Have Gone to Heaven
Still Have Power to Affect Our Lives Today.

"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase
 in the
United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the "unalienable rights" which the
Declaration says has been given to all human beings by
their Creator, and for which governments are created to protect.
How do you choose your friends?

We were forced into Public School systems against our will but while we were there we were never taught how to live "Happy", "Healthy", "Productive" lives full of "Love".  Instead, we had to be nice and friendly to everybody around us, our class mates.  We had to be nice to teachers and obey them.

Learning and practicing what is best for us in every aspect of our lives is every human being's "right." How to grow our own healthy food, how to make clothing, how to build shelter. We are full of life, free, and have the right to pursue happiness even in childhood. This is what a happy childhood is all about;  growing up, learning, and practicing to be "good" adults to ensure us of having a
       "full happy life"?

Is there just one answer- a scientifically, morally and psychologically-sound "Proven Way"?
                                                Absolutely YES!
There is no money
for teachers, schools, etc
in telling the truth.

There is one good answer to living a happy, fulfilled life but no one ever told me.  No one in 18 years ever told me the "truth".  Everyone lied to me.  Every person has the right to life, liberty, (freedom), and the pursuit of happiness.  But you and I cannot pursue Life, Liberty, and happiness  if every time we do so we are lied to  and  punished for it.

A Farm is a Self-sustaining Eco-System

Farming is the most wholesome, healthiest life a Human Being, "mammal" can have.  Grinding bread at home once a day is the healthiest food you can eat.  Growing your own wheat, preparing it yourself, is the best source of health for a human being's body. Farming is very fulfilling and satisfying for every human being. "(Human being" meaning taking from nature; a mammal without the individuals "soul" that can be broken and stray from nature; "the childish immature nature", "the savage nature," without parental guidance, tendency to laziness, selfishness, greed, sin, etc.)
When you are praying the "Our Father" this is what you are praying for: God's Will: a farm, house, a  barn, land to grow wheat so you can make bread every day.  Resource:  Many sources, including my contact at Pleasant Hill Grain, quote that wheat flour loses 40% of its vitamin content in the first 24 hours after milling and 85-90% after 2-3 more days

Milk,  "raw/fresh" from the cow, is the best source of nourishment for every human body. Milking a cow and caring for it is very fulfilling and a satisfying labor of love   for yourself and your family. No one ever told me that I could keep myself and my family happy and healthy just by grinding grain and making it into bread daily or told me that  milking a cow and making several things out of it was the most loving, "good", "wholesome" thing I could do for myself and everyone else.

Farming is the best thing you can do for your neighbors and for the "Planet".

Farming leaves the least "Carbon Footprint" when using horses and other "natural" products.

A Quote:  It is a fact that nothing keeps the health of a family and a farm, at a high level better than a cow.If you and your children have ample good, fresh, unpasteurized, unadulterated milk, butter, buttermilk, soft cheese, hard cheese, yogurt, sour milk, and whey, (a by product) you will simply be a healthy family. A cow will give you the basis of good health.  ref: The Self-sufficient Life and how to live it. by John Seymour

All the things you need for "Life, Liberty, and happiness" are "FREE".

What is best for human beings, (mammals), is free.

You have an apple, You plant the apple seeds. A tree grows.  The apple tree is self-sustaining. It multiplies itself. You never need to buy an apple again.

It is the same with almost everything necessary for "Life, Liberty and Happiness."

Why didn't anyone tell you that life is "Free".  Because they are selling. It isn't good  for business and  greedy people to tell you the truth.

Once you start spending money: you and your fellow man are on a downward spiral like the national debt.

The only way to stop this spiral and start healing the environment and our lives is to go without money.  Using money just causes more problems that causes you to need more money and the needs, wants and desires  just keep getting bigger and bigger.

The Bible says there is a time and season for everything.  Right now the season Isaiah 58 Ministries is going through is making friends with real, solid Christians, those who never used the current "fake" money we now have in the American system. They did, however, use silver and gold. Most of them are in the past. The Pilgrims, The Founding Fathers and now William Penn.  What is the difference between what we are doing today and what the Catholic Church does?

The Catholic Church believes that only certain people can be called "saints". Then they worship them and pray to them.   When we study the people, the saints from our country's past, we realize that they are alive in Heaven but we do not worship them or pray to them.

Saints do have power to affect our lives today!

 Men or mankind doesn't
own the earth.

Everybody is a salesman today. Schools, Teachers, media, you, your friends, churches, doctors, lawyers,  judges, President, Congressmen, Travel agencies, everybody you know is selling!

Everything that is good for you and everything you really "honestly need" is Free.

The best life for every human being is a wholesome, healthy life that can only come from God, without money.

We need to stop buying "junk" from each other.  Everybody is selling but they have nothing "good" to sell.  What God creates and produces is "good".   So, everyone is a salesman but they have nothing to sell .
Men or mankind doesn't own the earth.

God owns the earth and everything on/in it.

We just keep sucking the life out of each other.

The saints in our past aren't here to sell us anything.  They actually strengthen our lives. Their words are from "Wholesome happy, healthy lives."   When I read what the Pilgrims wrote and did, the Founding Fathers, William Penn etc... I can see and hear the "Holy Spirit" of God and receive God's strength from them.

William Penn wrote a letter to his children, encouraging them in every aspect of life. But what I found INCREDIBLY interesting was his encouragement in their employment:
"Choose God's trades before men's. Adam was a gardener, Cain a plough-man, and Abel a grazier or shepherd; these began with the world, have the least of snares, and most of use. When Cain became a murderer, as a witty man said (Cowley, in his Works on Agriculture), he turned into a builder of cities, and quit his husbandry. Making things, as crafts, are also commendable; but they are but a second brood, and younger brothers. If grace does not employ you, let nature and a useful art; but avoid curiosity there also, for it devours much time to no profit. I have seen a ceiling of a room [with frescoes, carvings, art, etc.] that cost half a much as the house; this is folly and sin, too."William Penn's Letter to His Children

How do you choose your friends?  Let God lead you to friends who were free and in their freedom they share the anointing of God with us and we receive "Power" from God in their writings and teachings.

William Penn also wrote a letter to his wife and children. In it he gives advice on friendship which we all should heed.
" But I pray thee, be often in retirement with the Lord and guard against encroaching friendships. Keep them at arm's end; for it is giving away our power, aye, and self too, into the possession of another. And that which might seem engaging in the beginning, may prove a yoke and burden too hard and heavy in the end." William Penn's Letter to His Wife and Children

Our friends, neighbors, peers suck the life out of us. Anyone who uses modern money.  This Money is a killer.  These men and women in the past were never brainwashed by the "black heart" of a money that doesn't have any real value.  They were free, they were smart, they knew God. Silver was silver and Gold was gold and a paper bill  is worthless. (See below 1800's history of coins) A "crown" was originally a gold coin issued during the reign of Henry VIII in 1544. It became a silver coin in 1551 under his son Edward VI.

We lie to each other talking about a worthless piece of paper as if it had some kind of value. It make us all so stupid, lifeless, it  brings unhappiness, binds us all to the lie.  We never have anything "worth" anything in our entire lives.

The Pilgrims had real value, freedom, life, happiness- the same with the Founding Fathers and William Penn.

Separate from each other. Stop sucking the life out of each other. Get alone with  William Bradford, George Washington, William Penn. Spend all your time with them. Learn from them get to know them. Their words are eternal, full of life and power anointed by God.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
English Standard Version (ESV)

The Temple of the Living God

14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?15 What accord has Christ with Belial?[a] Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? Fo rwe are the temple of the living God; as God said,
“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
17 Therefore go out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
    then I will welcome you,
18 and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to me,
says the Lord Almighty.”
What happens when we submit to God and submit to Apostles, Pastors, teachers, evangelists who  prove they are saints by the "freedom", (liberty), power in their lives? God is able to answer our prayers, help us, lead us, guide us and give us the same freedom they had.

We put on their mantel and throw off the weights that "our sinner" friends put on our shoulders.    Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee. You might not have anyone left in your life but you will not be weighted down by your sin and the sins of others.......

Ecclesiates 3
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.
A "crown" was originally a gold coin issued during the reign of Henry VIII in 1544. It became a silver coin in 1551under his son Edward VI.

The development of coinage and money systems was a very gradual process lasting many hundreds of years. Weights and coinage standards were directly linked because coins were valued according to their metal content. 'Token-based' money - like today's, in which value is not dependent on the metal content - did not begin to appear until the 19th century.

This basic form of pounds shillings pence currency was certainly in use by the 9th century. At that time the minting of coins was not centrally controlled activity. Coins were produced on a local, regional and independent basis, closely linked to the trades and traders who used them. It was to take many hundreds of years before coin production and values were to be unified into a consistent national standard. Moreover, the introduction of the first pound coin - the gold sovereign - was still more than half a century away. Still, the Pounds Shillings Pence structure, ie twelve pennies to a shilling, and twenty shillings to a pound was established by the end of the first millennium.
The word 'Penny' is derived from old Germanic language. The root gave similar 'Penny' names across Europe, originally meaning a coin or money, for example Old High German pfenning (and recently pre-Euro 'pfennig'), and Danish 'penge'. The oldest English forms, pre 725, were penig and pening. Penny is therefore a very old word indeed. By the early 12th century an English Penny was a firmly established solid silver coin worth one-twelfth of a shilling, and incredibly silver pennies continued in production, although sizes and purities changed, until c.1820, when copper pennies superceded them, forming the early beginnings of modern 'token' money (ie., like today's money, in that the value of the coin is not based on the value of the metal content).
The word Shilling has similar origins. In around 900 the word was 'scilling', and coins were close to solid silver. The word is from Old High German 'skilling' which was their equivalent for a higher value coin than the German pfenning. Similar words and meanings again are found all over Europe. The original derivation was either from Proto-Germanic 'skell' meaning to sound or ring, or Indo-European 'skell' split or divide. Some think the root might be from Proto-Germanic 'skeld', meaning shield. Whatever; shilling is another extremely old word.
