Who has the right from God to punish another person? PG here, Day 65John Locke. Chapter 2 ***Of The State of Nature*** is quoted in the Declaration of Independence. Only those who have read chapter 2 and studied the teachings of Jesus Christ and equal men of the times can understand this great, powerful document and uphold and enforce it with the help of God: Sir Edward Cook, William Penn, and Sir Richard Hooker, who was a 16th-century English priest and theologian. Hooker believed that all people are obligated to "justice and charity".
He believed that everyone is bound by the law of nature, which prohibits harming others' lives, liberties, health, or possessions.
He believed that everyone seeks communion and fellowship, which led to the creation of the first politic society. }

Who has the right from God to punish another person? The State of nature tells us there is one lawgiver and one set of laws in which all must live by. Since all men are equal in the State of nature, all men equally have the right to punish the offender of the law of nature given to us by God.

The State of Nature: The Right to Justice. The right to kill a murderer. Cain killed Abel. Cain knew everyone had the right to kill him. Genesis. No judge, congressman, legislator, or public official can deny someone the right to demand justice from the public when someone has harmed them or a loved one. Receive from the offender what can make up for the loss or harm done.
Everyone has the right to punish a crime. Restraint and prevent the crime from happening again. A citizen's arrest. A person restained, handcuffs, lost of freedom.
one reason to avoid it happening again. Two is to "deter" his happening again.

That in the state of nature every one has the executive power of the law of nature, I doubt not but it will be objected, that it is unreasonable for men to be judges in their own cases, that self-love will make men partial to themselves and their friends: and on the other side, that ill nature, passion and revenge will carry them too far in punishing others; and hence nothing but confusion and disorder will follow, and that therefore God hath certainly appointed government to restrain the partiality and violence of men.............................. in the state of nature, wherein men are not bound to submit to the unjust will of another: and if he that judges, judges amiss in his own, or any other case, he is answerable for it to the rest of mankind.
