Jesus is our Desert
We tend to think of the dessert as a bad thing. If so, why didn't God just lead the people right into the Promised land, kill all the evil inhabitants at one time and let them just live in peace? Why struggle for 40 years in the wilderness?
Moses had to go into the dessert for 40 years. Jesus himself, in order to fulfill God's plan and purpose for his life had to go into the dessert for 40 days.
It's a place of Honeymoon with God. It isn't all about testing and temptation by the Devil. After being Baptized by the Flood, Noah and his family, after being baptized by the Red Sea, the children of Israel and after Jesus was baptized by John. Each having time alone to just be with God. To get to know and trust each other as Husband and wife so they could be witnesses of God's love bringing forth fruit, Children. Multiplying.
Noah received the Rainbow as a marriage vow; Abraham received Circumcision a blood covenant, became the Father of nations and promised land for himself and his posterity, future family. Moses received the Ten Commandments and the Promised land. The water moved them. They had to move where God gave them land and children.
Jesus is the flood, the Red Sea, The Baptism, the Water that cleanses. This is why John said, you should be Baptizing me! Water cleanses.
Jesus came to cleanse us from sin. He gets the world out of us. Noah, Abraham, the children of Israel, The children of God: God takes into the dessert to spend time alone with them. In that time God takes the old ways out of us. Someone said: the 40 years in the dessert was to get Egypt out of Israel. Slavery and worldliness.
We as a individuals as well as a family, had to go to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to get slavery and worldliness out of us. We were taught by God how to trust him everyday. We started saying to each ourselves and to others:

The Scripture shows men called out from slavery, the world's system, and they all have to go without land in a dessert to learn to trust God to provide as a husband provides for his wife and children. Just as God has given man the job to keep his wife clean, holy, pure, and clean minded.

We are not in the last days, that is a deception of the devil. This is why we do not have Faith in God to fix the situation we are in. We are in a time of The Gospel being brought forth and advancing, conquering evil.
It is a Jubilee season, Men are going to receive their faith in God back, go back to the land, back to farm.
Most of us have been poisoned, chemically drugged, "forced", coerced into doctrines of demons. so it appears like it's the last days.
