We were a group of four so of course we had to talk about what transpired.
Person #1: One philosophy is that the man should "Get a Job". They need to stop being dependent on other people to feed them.
Person #2 The second philosophy was if they get a job they are still dependent on someone else to feed them. The government spends 10,000 to 30,000 dollars a year on "poor families"- each one . The money is "Consumed"- gone.
Now, here is what this person suggested: To help "the poor" and use the money wisely you give "the poor" a piece of land, a cow, seeds and training so they can "feed" themselves and their children the rest of their lives.This fulfills the proverb: teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time.

[George Washington and Mt Vernon is an example of one of the first self-sufficient independent Farmers and farms in America.]
The person #1 with the first philosophy eyes opened widely with a hint of fear in their voice: "You mean you make people self sufficient, independently living? Oh, the powers that be wouldn't like that!!!@#$%~**?/) They want "the poor" to support and contribute back into the system.
Yes, The #2 person said- This country is on a downward spiral and cannot keep up this socialist scheme. It will soon fail like Greece did recently.

Person #1 In a fearful, anxiety state of mind with a pinch of rage: "The country is collapsing everywhere. if anyone doesn't see that they are not very smart! It's falling apart every where!"

Now, if the government is not self sustaining, how can we as citizens be self sufficient? This is a difficult proposal but our country was made great by self sufficient men and women. We would not have the country we do now without total self reliance and dependence upon Almighty God.
The example for independent self-sufficient living for everyone is our "Father". George Washington.

The first president of the United States, George Washington, is often referred to as the Father of Our Country. He was known for his love of the land and farming, and his dislike of war.
Who is President George Washington fighting against today? "The powers that be". Public enemy number #1-1,000's of controlling, manipulating, brain washing, cultist, evil, greedy, power hungry, Socialist, feminist, Capitalist, Egotist, Fast-Food restaurants, teachers unions, Automobile companies, Advertisers, oil companies, insurance companies, the media, newspapers, television and movie industry, pornographers, etc.

Government is Set Up to Reward Good, Godly Behavior and Punish Evil
Romans 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.

We should never, never, NEVER be afraid of our government if we know we are doing those things which are glorifying to God.
What does is mean to be governed? The government you have seen has never exemplified "God's" government. It's actually in the Bible that governments are a gift of the Holy Spirit. (You have to be called by God and gifted by the Holy Spirit.) Also "obeying" is a hard word but we are to obey Jesus. We think in terms of being "bossed" around. I know I have to show myself it means like a father or mother telling us to look both ways before crossing the street. It's really good thing to do. Government in George Washington's time, with Abraham, Issac, and Jacob as their guides and examples was following God not self or man.

Government should be leading, guiding, protecting, a ministry to punish evil doers and reward good behavior, it's to secure freedom, write "wholesome" good laws, defend the rights of the people. Right now we have no government or you be writing stories every day about how God saved us, delivered us, protected us, etc.
Sinner or Saint? Can't be Both
1.Set free from sin. Obey the Ten Commandments. Honest, wholesome, good.

Cry out to God: "Jesus Save Me!" "Jesus save us!"....

We are heirs in the Kingdom: GOD PROVIDES FOR US, NOT THE GOVERNMENT! This is what we need to teach people!!!

The Earth Is is the Lord's!!! We need to remember we serve Him above all others. He controls the weather, the seasons, the planets, the sun. The earth is the Lord's and the Fullness Thereof!
The Day of the LORD
sound an alarm on my holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,
for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near,
2 a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and thick darkness!
Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains
a great and powerful people;
their like has never been before,
nor will be again after them
through the years of all generations.
and behind them a flame burns.
The land is like the garden of Eden before them,
but behind them a desolate wilderness,
and nothing escapes them.
and like war horses they run.
5 As with the rumbling of chariots,
they leap on the tops of the mountains,
like the crackling of a flame of fire
devouring the stubble,
like a powerful army
drawn up for battle.
6 Before them peoples are in anguish;
all faces grow pale.
7 Like warriors they charge;
like soldiers they scale the wall.
They march each on his way;
they do not swerve from their paths.
8 They do not jostle one another;
each marches in his path;
they burst through the weapons
and are not halted.

they run upon the walls,
they climb up into the houses,
they enter through the windows like a thief.

The sun and the moon are darkened,

Return to the LORD
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster.
14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent,
and leave a blessing behind him,
a grain offering and a drink offering
for the LORD your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion;
consecrate a fast;
call a solemn assembly;
16 gather the people.
Consecrate the congregation;
assemble the elders;
gather the children,
even nursing infants.
Let the bridegroom leave his room,
and the bride her chamber.
17 Between the vestibule and the altar
let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep
and say, “Spare your people, O LORD,
and make not your heritage a reproach,
a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’”
The LORD Had Pity
18 Then the LORD became jealous for his land
and had pity on his people.
“Behold, I am sending to you
grain, wine, and oil,
and you will be satisfied;
and I will no more make you
a reproach among the nations.
and drive him into a parched and desolate land,
his vanguard into the eastern sea,
and his rear guard into the western sea;
the stench and foul smell of him will rise,
for he has done great things.
21 “Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice,
for the LORD has done great things!
22 Fear not, you beasts of the field,
for the pastures of the wilderness are green;
the tree bears its fruit;
the fig tree and vine give their full yield.
and rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given the early rain for your vindication;
he has poured down for you abundant rain,
the early and the latter rain, as before.
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent among you.
26 “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the LORD your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
27 You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I am the LORD your God and there is none else.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
The LORD Will Pour Out His Spirit
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
29 Even on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
Revelation 2:17 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give to eat of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it.
