Isaiah 58 Ministries April 23, 2014
Pastor: Leah Svensson
Scripture: Psalms 103, Mark 10:13-16, Matthew 18:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:6
Troubles make us feel old, worn out, tired, depressed. This wears on our faces and bodies. God has an easy solution. He wants to forgive, heal, restore, you are young again and bring to Justice whoever caused the trouble in the first place Everything is made right again. Just like as if a Tornado came through and tore your house down. God rebuilds it and it is brand new!!! You have all brand new things also. That is God. You, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, a house. Sin, ( including other people who sin against you), is the Tornado that destroys our sound minds, peace, youthfulness, body. Come see how God makes everything brand new and your face, your countenance, life is young again, fixed, vibrant as if you were 7 years old again!!
It shows on your body and face!
Be Young Every Day!
It would seem to the natural eye that we here at Isaiah 58 Ministries came by this teaching by accident. We can not take credit for what God has done for us. We seek healing every day. We seek the truth every day. We seek God's will every day. We want to know how God wants to provide for us and care for us because we do not see it being done in America. Corporations, businesses or the government provides for people.
Schools teach people "the school or job ethic", "get a job", "go to college" but not a work ethic. There is a difference between the two. From the time we are very young we get up go to school for 8 hours, (which is child labor), then we might do some extra curriculum activities, then we sit down and watch TV or play video games. Maybe we go to Cub Scouts or play a sport. That's how we spend "our youth," the first 13 to 18 years of our lives. It is called conditioning, brain washing, so when you are an adult you will continue this same pattern until you die.
God has given us a "work ethic", we are working on something all the time, building creating, studying, learning, growing, seeking, etc.
"Spend our youth", is actually not a truthful sentence. We were forced against our will to take what God freely gave to us, our freewill, "youth" and do what others wanted us to do. Strangers stole our precious life, our innocence, our time and spent it without our permission.
We have to take it back!
It is easy as calming down and thinking for yourself.
There are seeds to happiness given to us when we were born. If you weren't forced to go to a babysitter or day care then you can still remember what it is like to get up in the morning full of HOPE, EXPECTANCY, JOY, HAPPINESS, LIFE, LOVE.
Life is great, you looked forward to the whole day with excitement, with a smile on your face!!!
That is faith in God!!!!
As women, and Matt also, we feel for women who are forcefully separated from their children and made to be slaves in the workforce. We "KNOW" God has called women to be mothers, at home raising children, making a home and enjoying every minute of it. Real men of God understand this.
But how to pay for it? This is the question, especially with a government that does not enforce God's responsibility given to men to support the women who have their children.
Nature and Nature's God is the solution. Working the family farm. God gives everyone everything they need. He has already provided everything. But we did not come by this information and freedom from slavery easily...
NO! NO! NO! We have had road blocks, stumbling stones, and indoctrination brainwashing our minds and actions forced to conform to worldly standards. We have been persecuted, falsely accused, treated terribly by others, judged falsely, lied to, lied about, never allowed to face our accusers or given a fair trail. We have been mentally tortured and have had set backs along with more set backs. We had to use God's power to deliver us time and time again, over and over and over again.... The world does not want to let it's slaves go.
This wears on your body, on your face, fills you with feelings of insecurity, fear, doubt, confusion, loneliness, pain, anguish, despair, etc. It's been a very hard life.
Always hearing the injustice that goes on all around us by the government, children suffering without mothers and fathers, all the immorality children are forced to listen to, their parents cursing in front of them, angry at them when they are innocently being children, violence in music, TV, movies, games, etc!!!! HELP!!!! People having all kinds of illnesses, cancers, etc. All this will show up in your mind and on your face.
We need a SAVIOR!!!! Mankind needs a SAVIOR!!! His name is JESUS.
In the 1900's corruption slowly took over the country, the government, the courts, then the people. But the Gospel of Jesus is going to fix and heal all of it and it will be like it never happened.
We have to have the faith that we had when we were children. The faith that when we get out of bed LIFE IS GREAT! God loves me, my mother and father love me..... I am loved, I am going to have a GREAT DAY! Yes, you were born that way. Sin took it from you. But Jesus will give it back. Learning that wheat is easy to grow, having a cow is great for milk, cheese, ice cream, chickens give us eggs, etc. Getting back to nature and Nature's God: Declaration of Independence.
You can read through the below scriptures and see a process. God forgives us our sins, we talk to God, he promises to provide for us, care for us, protect us. He gives us laws to live by so we can live civilized with one another. God upholds the laws he gives us. When someone hurts us or someone we know, that person is punished, the injured person returned to the state he was before he was injured if not better. It is a process that makes life functional. Every thought we have can be at peace....full of youthfulness and health. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. (Psalms 103, 2 Thessalonians, the whole Bible!)
Now to the important part, Hopefully the reason why you are reading.
{OK you are thinking: What about cars, electricity, insurance, etc? None of that comes from God, if you want those things you have to get it from the world and the world is going to enslave you to money. Money is poison to the human soul. Every decision based on money brings death to someone somewhere, and death inside each of us. A Part of our child like faith in God has to die, put on the shelf so the knowledge of sin can reside in us instead....}
We now know God has a plan to provide for us and keep our God given right to live the way God calls us to. American's don't need jobs or college: they need justice. Things to be done right. We need Good to prevail over evil! That is when we receive the face lift, the worry lines removed, and the tummy tucks done by God. We have been working on our child like faith and seeing God's justice for years the outcome? It just comes out of our mouths from our spirits!:
I am young!
You are young!
We are young!
The very words bring heal healing restoration, memories healed as if nothing ever happened to us or anyone else! It's all brand new!
The End
Commentary on scriptures giving:
Psalms 103 tells us God fill us with GOOD!!! In doing so our youth is renewed.... Made new!
God makes everything right, (righteousness), and brings Justice to pass.
(Good things happen to those who trust God and are Good, Bad things happen to those who trust in dishonesty and are bad)
Matthew 18 tells us those who humble themselves before God realizing they are just children and need God that God has a lot to teach us enter into and are under the umbrella (insurance terminology), of God. We have his assurance, God's protection, love, care and provision.
Next, if anyone hurts someone who has faith in God it is better for that person never to have been born!! The next verses are about sinning against those who have faith in God, God says cut off what ever it is that causes you to hurt his children. Why? God is going to bring that child back to him, restore the child you hurt. You are wasting your time hurting a person who has faith in God.
2 Thessalonians tells us that God's sees the suffering of those who have faith in him. God is going to heal the person injured by another's sin against them. The person who harmed a person with faith will have tribulations. The tribulations described in the book of Revelations, the pain will be so bad the person will want to die but won't be able to die.
Next we learn of God's vengeance on those who harm people who have faith in God. Their lives, names, who they all will be destroyed forever! This is what the book of life is about. Those who faith in God will have a good name, a good reward forever!
Psalms 103:
Bless the LORD, O My Soul
Of David.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
and justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his acts to the people of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 He will not always chide,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.
17 But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
19 The LORD has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the LORD, O you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21 Bless the LORD, all his hosts,
his ministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the LORD, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the LORD, O my soul!
5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Temptations to Sin
7 “Woe to the world for temptations to sin. For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.14 So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
Let the Children Come to Me
13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
2 Thessalonians 1:5-12 The Judgment at Christ’s Coming
5 This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—6 since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10 when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. 11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
