How to be Truly and Sincerely Thankful to God... Through Appreciating His Creation He Made For Us!

Isaiah 58 Ministries                                                                 August, 2015

Pastor: Leah "Faith"

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 7:33-34, Ephesians 5:31, Genesis 2:24

1 Corinthians 7:33-34

33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

Our garden is really starting to shine; Sunflowers and corn 10 to 12 feet high, Lima beans, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, all kinds of Beans, Pumpkins, Squashes, Pears, Watermelon, etc.  We are really being blessed two freezers stocked with Chickens, Beef and Pork. Getting our Storehouses ready for the Winter Months.
Garden as of August 2015
When we first starting growing things it was such a pleasure because Grandma was alive and she let us all know how much she loved fresh homegrown tomatoes. She would say there isn't anything better than a fresh tomato out of the garden.  You knew that she really would appreciate the work and effort you put in to the garden. We knew we were going to make her very happy when she ate the tomatoes we grew. She would be thankful and grateful for all that we were doing.
Garden 08' the Year of Grandma went to meet Jesus... the Best Garden year ever by far...
This is an example of God's love. Everything we do  should be because it would be naturally pleasing to God, (it will make those near you happy!), pleasing to your wife or husband, Mother, Father, Grandparents, children.
We've Come so Far... I believe this is either 09' or 07'
             Ephesians 5:31 Wives and Husbands
30because we are members of His body.31FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. 32This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.…

Genesis 2:24

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

God is a God of nature.   The Bibe tells us to turn from the things of this world and turn to God. Turn to nature, turn to farming, Turn away from the cities and turn to the land. Things that God created that are natural like tomatoes, peppers, the maple tree, the walnut tree, the streams filled with fish, etc.
The Year of the Cabbage!! So many Giant Cabbages!!!

It use to be said a man should settle down and take a wife. That meant to farm.  Both husband and wife "cleaving" to each other, never separating, but living on the farm together, growing their food, raising animals and raising children.  Doing everything out of love for one another. Making each other happy with natural things God has created. Having children with a "restored" mind makes a person extremely happy!  Thanking God every day for all the things he created that make us happy.  Land, trees, animals, love, children, each other, creeks, rivers, blue shies, the sun, etc.  Jesus calls all of us to "love" one another.

God's ways:  A man cutting down a maple tree then making furniture out of it that he knows it is really going to please his wife, and make her happy!  A wife making a man's favorite dish out of love for him knowing it is going to make him very "happy".
That each will be very thankful and grateful for the things they did for each other out of love, respect, thankfulness, goodness in their hearts.
So much has been added and changed over the years!! Out of small beginnings... I believe this is early 09'?

Then you realize God created the earth out of love for all of us.  All we see God created because he knew it would make us very happy and we would know he loves us deeply.

As we drove through the mountains, valleys, and over rivers and streams this weekend we saw what God had created for us and we can be be very happy with it. It is beautiful.  Being thankful to God for creating this beauty for us to see and enjoy.  All of life is to make us happy, to be pleasing to us and know God loves us and created everything on earth for us!
