Pentecost 2016 The Tree of Life

Isaiah 58 Ministries April 2, 2016

Scripture: 2 Corinthians Chapter 6, Genesis 2

The Temple of the Living God

14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said,
“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
17 Therefore go out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
    then I will welcome you,
18 and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to me,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Genesis 2
(For out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree pleasant to the sight, and good for meat: the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, [k]and the tree of knowledge of good and of evil.
15 ¶ Then the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden, that he might dress it, and keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Thou shalt eat freely of every tree of the garden,
17 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt die the [v]death.

Pentecost Preparation of our Souls.

The Word of the Lord is the same Word Moses gave: Separate yourself from this idol. Turn your back on the world and those who do not have Faith in God. Do not have anything to do with the unfruitful works of darkness

God's people joined Moses. Those in sin stayed with their idol and were put to death by their fellow israelites. I feel like Moses coming down from the Holy Mountain of God after receiving the Ten Commandments. God had delivered the people of Israel from Egypt, representing the world, sin, debauchery, Slavery to task Masters, men. God set them free miraculously.
The people had made an idol of a Golden Calf and forced everyone to worship this false image instead of putting their faith in God.

The World's view Point
America is at this pinnacle.

Evil people who broke the law, the covenant, the Constitution by creating paper money. God set this country free, miraculously with his power; the Good News of Jesus Christ setting men free from sin.

Paper Money represents forbidden fruit. The Founding Fathers had studied this system and knew it was evil and forbid the use of it. Money causes men to hate and blaspheme God, destroy others' rights, plus men sin against each other instead of loving one another. Men eating of the tree of the Knowledge of good and bad. Now we are all being forced to worship this idol and live in debauchery created by bankers in order to control the wealth of the world. This system started long before the founding Fathers.

Touch Nothing Unclean
Jesus Christ is the The Tree of Life. The Bible, through Jesus' baptism of water and the Spirit we find is the source, the founding, of all wisdom and knowledge from God's perspective. God's perspective is the only "true" reality. He helps us bring all our thoughts, wisdom, knowledge, dreams and desires into unity with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We enter the Holy of Holies looking upon and meditating on God's holiness, we become one with God and Holy.

The church does not use money! The church of Jesus, the saints, turn their back on the world, separate themselves from those who do not have faith in God. We don't put faith in money because our faith is in God to deliver us from sin. Jesus delivers us from the sin of paper money!

Jesus, our King the King of all men, commands men to "Love God" with all that is in them with all they have! He also commands us to
"Love our neighbor". God transforms us into saints, fills us with his "Power" and "authority". We can only do this with the leadership of the Holy Spirit! Saints: see, know, fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is equal to the pillar of smoke that lead the children of Israel. The Pillar of fire at night that gave them Light! The Holy Spirit is God's light, his love that leads us into all truth, all wisdom, wealth and prosperity.

The Holy Spirit leads us in what to do every minute, every second. Just look for him. He is in you. He is greater than anything in the world! When you look at the Holy Spirit you are looking at the anointing that breaks all yokes, that teaches us all things. When you look at the Holy Spirit you are looking at God, praying to God, you are transformed by his "Light". The Holy Spirit performs "the Word", God speaks, the Holy Spirit is the power that brings it to pass!

You keep your eyes on God and turn from the world when you look and recognize the Holy Spirit! When you look at the Holy Spirit you are acknowledging God in all things!

Authority:

Throughout Jesus’ life He made it clear “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak” (John 12:49) Coming in a humble state He became a servant giving us the perfect example of what the man was created to be like (Phil.2:5-8).
John 7:15-19 “And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?” Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.”
John 12:48-50 “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.”
Notice Jesus does not exert his authority but relies on another for his instruction- He teaches us to do the same as in Phil. 2: we are to have the same attitude in us that was in him, the mind of Christ is one of humility.
For even the Spirit does not have the authority that some people claim. John 16:13-15 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”

Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says,
“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; bytruthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.
11 We have spoken freely to you,[a] Corinthians; our heart is wide open.12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. 13 In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.
