And he said, ‘Hear me, brethren and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran and said to him, “Depart from your country and your relatives, and come into the land that I will show you”’ (Acts 7:2-3).
Abraham heard God, then Abraham did what God told him to do. This is having Faith in God. Wait before him, listening for him to speak to you and obey.
Christians have a crisis of Faith because it isn't taught that God speaks to us. Verbally! If Abraham without the Holy Spirit inside of him could hear God how much should Christian be talking about God speaking to them.
The veil has been torn, enter into the holiest of all places on earth, prayer. Wait until you get a Word from God, wait until you hear God, let God speak to you and obey. It isn't that God isn't speaking to you, he is always speaking to you. We just have too many others voices in our heads. Pray, "God help me get rid of the voices in my head that I might have just one voice, the voice of my shepherd and my King, Jesus!"
This is why public school will send you to hell. There are way too many teachers, friends, authority figures, tests, authors of books, too many people to listen to, you can't hear God and obey God. You are listening to the voice of complete strangers in disobedience to God. It's rebellion, rebellion is witchcraft.
