And there came a voice from heaven, saying,
Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

                      Do You need something?

Profound!  It is so easy to receive a miracle!

To receive from God you must first love him with every thought, with everything in your heart, with everything you understand, with all your knowledge.

God loves Jesus!  So to love God, 1st commandment, is to love Jesus.

Recently the Holy Spirit brought back a memory of being two or three years old when I loved God according to the first Commandment.  It is so peaceful, pure, innocent, comforting, sound minded and powerful!

God was healing me of extremely painful brainwashing. I was forced to turn from loving God. I was made to repeat, believe, think about and say, “I love “Santa Claus”. My mind quit working and these thoughts consumed my heart, mind, will and understanding.

So now I am telling myself “I love Jesus” 24-7.  Wow, what power there is in loving Jesus.  Exponential soul saving happens when you “know” you love Jesus with every thought! Your understanding of life, knowledge of God, of his ways, his will, etc. comes to you exponentially!   But there is a cost.  You have to hate everything else.   Have no idols before him.  I have found myself realizing that I am totally dependant on God for everything!  Even to do what he asks.  I am dependent on the Holy Spirit even to tell myself:

“I  love Jesus!”   We are nothing he is everything. To be someone is trust him and do what he says.   It takes a while of telling the truth, “I  love Jesus” to break free from the spells put on our minds that blind us from God’s power and love.

A good athlete will tell you they didn't become the best just by practicing and working hard.  They have to psych themselves up every day, they have to talk to themselves, encourage themselves, speak positive towards themselves. “I can do this.” “No pain no gain.” Etc.

Sprains, torn muscles, losses, criticisms, people telling them they’ll never do it, setbacks come and go, but they keep their minds focused on the goal determined to persevere to be the best.

God made it so easy to be a Saint. God made it so easy to be good, sinless, healed.  But it is too easy. It takes the faith of a child. The goodness, innocence and purity of a child.

Things come along and stop us, we're adults, things mislead us, undermined our resolve, etc.

                                 The world trips over it:

           The first commandment:  Love God

This is the whole Old Testament!

Jesus made a new Commandment to encompass the New Testament:  Love your neighbor.

Jesus fulfilled it all.  Just two Commandments, when you do the first commandment, the second just follows along!  "I love Jesus" has to scream from every thought we have, everything you tell yourself, our whole being!
Thinking: I love  God

Do you want something from God?  Do you need your mind/soul saved/sound? Do you want deliverance? Provision? a spouse? a child?

Mat 22:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Mat 22:37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind.’
Mat 22:38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Mat 22:40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments

Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

 Mar 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

 Mar 12:31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

 Mar 12:32
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

 Mar 12:33
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

 Mar 12:34
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

 Mar 1:11

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
